Gold Gains amid Fears of Potential Global Trade War
Singapore, 18 Feb (ONA) --- Gold extended gains on today as
uncertainty over US tariff plans continued to dominate sentiment,
driving safe-haven demand amid fears of a potential global trade war.
Spot gold rose 0.2% to $2,903.56. US gold futures gained 0.6% to
$2,916.80.
Spot silver fell 1.3% to $32.37 an ounce. Platinum gained 0.5%
to $980.29, and palladium climbed 1.4% to $976.35.
