A Hamas official told AFP that it expects the latest hostage-for-prisoner exchange with Israel "will take place on Thursday",  adding that "Israel will release more than 600 Palestinian detainees", in exchange for "four bodies of Israeli captives". Israel has yet to comment on whether it will release more than 600 Palestinian prisoners on Thursday.
